Steph Drouin and Paul Barton are community song leaders based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They have been supporting the leadership of a community choir called Sing for Joy since September 2017. Steph founded Fiercely OK in January 2019 and Paul has been supporting Steph with the leadership of Fiercely OK's weekly song circles and special events ever since!

Known by some as a musical “wizard,” Paul makes clever use of his education in Jazz guitar and experience as a professional musician to help song circles run seamlessly. His songs, infused with his passions for the environment, community, and mental health, are among the most requested songs in the Sing for Joy community. His simple melodies carry deep truths right to the heart.

Steph is a community builder and mental health advocate with a strong belief in the “Fierce OKness” in all of us. Informed by a life-long relationship with anxiety, she writes and teaches songs to help participants embrace their messiness and stay connected to their sense of being OK. Playful and strong, she has a knack for brightening everyone’s day. She graduated from the Community Choir Leadership Training program and Lisa Littlebird’s Flight School in 2018, and is now in the midst of a three-year training program in Expressive Art Therapy with the CREATE Institute.

Steph and Paul send a big thank you to all who have helped them share their gifts with the world!
